DMICHELEJACKSON NURSING MINISTRIES
EVERY STEP A NURSE TAKES LEADS TO CHANGE
Welcome to My Website!
I’m so glad you’re here. My mission is to create a better understanding of the world and our unique place as women within it. This journey has led me to embrace many roles—nurse, writer, paralegal, activist, evangelist, and more—all rooted in a commitment to serving others and spreading faith-driven empowerment.

Ephesians 6:15
D. Michele Jackson
I cannot remember a time when I didn’t love God. Though I’ve faltered many times, His love for me has never wavered. My one earnest request to Him has been to enter into His will, and He has blessed me with the opportunity to share His works through my life and ministry.
Here, I pour my heart into showcasing His love and grace through the gifts He has given me. My fervent prayer is to make Him proud in everything I do. If there is anything I write or share that leads you into a relationship with the One I adore—Jesus—I consider it the highest honor.
Romans 10:9
"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Blessings,
Donna
The Trilogy: Travels to the Promise is a spiritually grounded, justice-driven series chronicling one woman’s journey through displacement, advocacy, and divine restoration. Told through a spiritual autobiography, a care plan, and a collection of love songs, the trilogy confronts systemic failures in healthcare and law—especially those affecting Black women and nurses—while offering tools for reform, healing, and hope. The finale is not just a resolution—it is a promise fulfilled.

Rooted in the wisdom of Proverbs 31, the nurse embraces her charge to protect the crushed. Her journey reveals a sobering reality — the judicial system is not merely flawed, but an active offender of women’s health.
JOY: JESUS ON YOU
SOCIAL JUSTICE SERIES — Book Two
A profound reckoning with grief, betrayal, and divine intervention. Through lyrical reflection and spiritual clarity, the author seeks refuge in chosen family and unwavering faith, even as the very institutions entrusted with justice reveal themselves as sources of harm.

A True Account of Faith, Survival, and a Nurse’s Final Assessment
The writer always made it a habit to pray. But after her mother’s transition, something shifted. Instead of demanding answers from God, D. Michele Jackson began praying for strength, clarity, and guidance — every single day. What began as survival became surrender. What began as grief became grounding.
JOY is based on true accounts.
It follows a nurse navigating divorce self‑represented, sustained only by the power of prayer and the quiet conviction that God still speaks in the dark.
Twelve years later, a student nurse completes her final project.
JOY becomes a nurse’s last assessment — the culmination of thirty years in the industry, where lived experience becomes data, and data becomes a case for Black women’s health.
After three decades of research, it is as a paralegal that the nurse drafts, petitions, and advocates — requesting legislation, defending women’s rights, and standing in the gap for those who are unheard.
JOY is more than a book.
It is a clinical‑spiritual discharge summary, a generational testimony, and a blueprint for healing.
It is the moment where faith meets evidence, where prayer meets policy, and where a nurse becomes a witness for the daughters of slaves.
The Promise
Book Three: Empower
A call to action. Through legislative proposals, historical analysis, and spiritual testimony, the writer demands reform and reclaims voice—not just for herself, but for generations to come.
The journey reaches its crescendo in The Travels to The Promise, the final book in D. Michele Jackson’s moving trilogy. This installment weaves together the harmony of her life—a melody composed in faith, resilience, and unwavering devotion. Every step of the journey pays tribute to the God who provided the lyrics, YHWH Nissi, her banner of victory and guidance.
As the final curtain falls, The Travels to The Promise stands as a love song to the Creator—a profound expression of gratitude, trust, and the fulfillment of divine purpose. This book is not just the conclusion of a trilogy; it is a testament to the beauty of walking in harmony with God’s will and an invitation for readers to reflect on their own journeys to the promise.
The final curtain falls as a love song to YHWH Nissi.
